Waldner Grain Mill Silence

An essential component of the Waldner grain mill is solid wood. "For our Silence, we have chosen beech as the basic material." Hard wood combined with soft lines is the motto of this grain mill.

The finish of the mill takes into account the heavy use in a kitchen with water-based varnish that is free of harmful substances and toxins. The grain mill can be cleaned with a damp cloth without damage and then shines again in new splendour.

Grindstones: Corundum ceramic

The heart of the grain mill, the Grindstone, is made of ceramic-bonded corundum. The Grindstones are self-sharpening and also suitable for crushing oilseeds (mixed with grain).

This modern technology combines incredible hardness with the greatest possible durability and best grinding properties without the use of chemical additives. The optimal matching of grindstone diameter and motor speed ensures gentle grinding of the whole grain.

Cleaning of the easily accessible grinding mechanism (simply twist off the hopper) is not necessary during normal operation.

The compact design in combination with the rotating thread of the plastic hopper ensures pleasant running smoothness and low grinding noise. Hence the name "Silence".

A technically mature industrial motor guarantees the trouble-free operation of the grain mill for many years. The motor is compact but amply dimensioned. It runs almost noiselessly, is stable, not susceptible to faults and maintenance-free.

If a foreign object should ever get lost in the grinding mechanism, the integrated winding protection saves the grain mill from costly motor damage.

The integrated child safety lock prevents the motor from starting unintentionally when the grinding chamber is open.
