Proofing baskets for beautiful bread shapes
The dough is well kneaded and should now rise before it is put into the oven in a well-formed shape. For this purpose, there are the proofing baskets made of wicker, which are also used by large bakeries hundreds and thousands of times over, for good reasons:
- Peddig cane is very light and pleasantly warm to handle. The dough is not quenched by cold or heat.
- Peggigrohr has an insulating effect. Covered with a cloth, the dough can rise in peace and without draughts.
- Exact shaping with groove-like finishn structure, as known from breads from the bakery. The choice of shapes is huge: long, round, square, oval, even triangular bread shapes are available in the shops, some even with wooden bases into which motifs are milled.
