The Salzburger flaker pulls in the crushed material excellently thanks to the extremely grippy rollers. All kinds of grains can be crushed, such as oats, spelt, wheat, rye, even the smallest grains like quinoa, amaranth, linseed or poppy seeds. This makes this grain crusher ideal for preparing organic mueslis and fresh grain porridge. Grain-like spices such as pepper, coriander, caraway and finely chopped woods such as liquorice and hyssop can also be crushed.
Adjustment, press pressure
The distance between the rollers can be adjusted as required by turning the wing nuts.
Pinch rollers
The rollers are made of nickel-free stainless steel and have sharp-edged grooves. This ensures that the crushed material is optimally drawn in, even very dry seeds and grains without prior moistening or soaking.

Cleaning
From time to time it may be necessary to clean the rollers. Use a cleaning brush or a toothbrush for this purpose.
Frame and hopper
Frame and hopper are made of solid beech or walnut wood. The finish is shimmering satin with organic beeswax oil.
Collection container includedCollection container included
Included is a small lovingly made box made of solid beech wood, matching the flaker, and a sturdy table clamp.
Our test of the flake master
With the tightest possible setting, we tested with naked oats to find out how fine the oat flakes become. We were very satisfied with the result: uniformly fine flakes with a little effort. The coarser you set the flaker, the easier it is to crank.
