The new flake crusher made from renewable raw materials

Reduced to the essentials in a resource-conscious design made of organic plastic, this grain flaker squeezes the grain for daily muesli at the touch of a button. The almost futuristic shape and sober colouring in black and white also make Grainlovers E-Flaker an eye-catcher in the kitchen and dining room.

The Hopper

The hopper of this electric flaker / oat roller is a little smaller than other electric flaker / oat rollers, but with a capacity of 150g it is large enough for 2 - 4 portions of muesli.

The Casing

It looks very stylish and is perfectly proportioned in terms of design. With its matt anthracite-coloured hopper and white body, it also accurately represents the Modern Style. On closer inspection, the slightly pearlescent finish is particularly refined.

The squeezing unit

Two easy-grip, parallel stainless steel rollers crush the whole grain into fine flakes. The crushing capacity of 60 g/min is perfectly adequate for muesli needs. The roller spacing is not adjustable, but this electric flaker / oat roller reliably crushes all grains (oats, spelt, kamut, ancient wheat) as well as various seeds. Even the small linseeds are broken up so that their nutrients can be utilised in the body.

Cleaning

For cleaning the rollers, the squeezing unit can be removed easily and without tools. The hopper, which also serves as a cover for the motor and crusher, is removed by pressing a protruding clamp.

As usual, we tested with naked oats. The result was very satisfactory. Strongly crushed grains with uniform intake of the grains. We found the trajectory of the flakes interesting. A kind of baffle ejects the flakes slightly forwards so that they land in the middle of the collection tray.
