The electric Grain Mill from Luba
The Arabella is a sturdy, powerful Grain Mill for home use, producing fresh, fine whole grain flour for baking bread and cakes. It can be used to grind common types of grain, such as wheat, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, and brown rice, to any desired fineness. Even hard, larger grains such as chickpeas, sweet corn, and soybeans are no problem.

Mill body made of linden wood
The choice of wood is also unique among Grain Mills. Linden wood, like alder, hardly works at all and is therefore not very prone to cracking when exposed to extreme climatic fluctuations (dry-wet and hot-cold). Nevertheless, wooden mills should generally not be placed next to heaters, stoves, and ovens or on window sills where the sun shines directly on them. The surface is treated with natural linseed oil.
Large millstone with powerful motor
The relatively large corundum ceramic millstone with a diameter of 90 mm is reliably driven by an above-average 380-watt motor in the 100-gram performance class.
Wooden grinding chamber
In most household mills, the grinding chambers are made of plastic, but in the Arabella they are made of tough, hard beech wood.
Adjusting the flour fineness
As with many Grain Mills, the flour fineness is adjusted by turning the funnel. On the Arabella, the setting is fixed in place by a ring gear in the funnel using a fixing pin. The ring gear is made of steel, not plastic. The fixing is released by pressing the button on the right-hand side so that the funnel can be turned to adjust the fineness.

Flour ejection with leather strap
The Arabella has a protruding leather strap (no brushes) attached to the lower millstone, which throws the flour from the grinding chamber into the ejector.

Child safety lock included
As the grinding chamber can be opened very easily by turning the funnel, a child safety lock is integrated for safety reasons. When the funnel is removed, the power supply is interrupted so that the grinding stone cannot turn.
