Performance, when you need it

The 250 watt industrial motor produces 100 grams of fine wheat flour per minute, with a coarser setting several times. The KoMoMio flour grinder grinds the usual varieties of cereals such as wheat, spelt, rye, etc. However, it is not suitable for large, hard grains such as corn and chickpeas.

What can be ground

• Soft cereals: E.G. wheat, spelt, rye, emmer, einkorn, barley, green kernel, kamut (actually hard cereals), oats (only coarse)
• Spices: pepper, chili peppers, Mustard seeds, caraway, coriander, cardamom peeled, cloves, rosemary, thyme, lovage

Funnel Capacity

As with the comparable Grain Mill Fidibus 21, the funnel holds up to 850 grams of grain.

Setting

As with all KoMo mills, the setting is done continuously by rotating the funnel.

Bottom Line

In terms of performance, the KoMoMio ECO is comparable to the much more expensive Fidibus 21 and the Magic. The large price difference is made possible by the weaker motor and the smaller grindstone by the simpler modular (plugged together) housing in combination with plastic. So, if it's just the grinding result and price matters, ECO is the first choice.
