The new grain flaker that does not require a table clamp. The hand-operated flaker for fresh oat flakes and more.
Fresh flakes in no time at all – it's that easy!

The Frame
The powder-coated stainless steel frame is simple, stylish and also reduced to the essentials. Two large anti-slip rubber pads are attached to the underside of the flocker base to prevent the flocker from slipping when turning.

The crushing mechanism
The whole grain is crushed into flakes between two stainless steel rollers. All kinds of grains can be crushed, e.g. sunflower seeds, millet, linseed, etc., as well as spices. The crushing pressure is already set to the optimum level and cannot be adjusted.

The crank
The stainless steel crank with wooden handle is so short that it does not touch the table surface when turned. The effort required to turn it is so low that the flaker can be held in place by hand and does not require a table clamp.
The drive
The rollers are not driven directly, as is the case with conventional flake crushers, but indirectly via a gear wheel with a transmission ratio of 1:2. This means that the crank must be turned twice for the rollers to make one revolution. The effort required to turn the crank is therefore only half that required for a direct drive. The lower effort required comes at the expense of the rotational speed of the crushing rollers, so that the amount crushed is lower than with flakers with direct drive.
However, given that the tabletop flaker can be placed anywhere on the table and cleared away again with virtually no effort, it is worth turning the crank a few more times to obtain the required amount of fresh cereal flakes.

Cleaning the crushing rollers
To clean the rollers, you can remove the hopper without tools by pulling the clips (on the side of the hopper) outwards. The best way to clean the rollers is to brush them from above with a coarse bristle brush.
